Fashion isn't just a career for me—it's my heritage and my calling. With a family lineage deeply rooted in the textile world (my great grandfather was a wool merchant, and my mother worked closely with the Benetton brothers), I've been surrounded by fabric, design, and style my entire life.
About Me
My Journey
I'm a true global citizen. Before settling in Sydney, I lived and worked across Asia, Europe, and South Africa—experiences that profoundly shaped my understanding of international fashion. My industry experience is diverse: I've worked as a stylist, manager, and buyer for prestigious establishments like Brown's in London, Oroton, and David Jones.
In 2006, I launched my own fashion label, driven by a vision to create sustainable, stylish, and travel-friendly clothing. Over the past 18 years, I've clothed thousands of men and women and navigated the complex landscape of fashion design.
Personal Evolution
I am now the mum to two little kids and an anxious dog. This new chapter of my life has dramatically transformed my perspective on sustainability. Protecting the planet for future generations is now even more important than ever before. Each design, each choice in our production process is now made with my children's future in mind.
Recognition and Achievements
My journey hasn't been without challenges, but I'm proud of the milestones I've achieved:
Selected as one of 10 Australian Designers for a Hong Kong delegation *AusMumpreneur Fashion Business Award winner *Finalist for Sustainable Product (2022) *Nominated for "Women Changing the World" in Sustainability (2023)
Media and Influence
I've been fortunate to share my passion through various platforms:
- Featured on Sunrise, MTV, Today Show, and A Current Affair
- Monthly columnist for the Sydney Standard
- Regular fashion and style advisor on P&O and Carnival Cruise Ships
- Podcast guest on "Unstoppable E-commerce" and "Everyday Heroes"
Why Made in Australia
From the very beginning of my label, I have always been adamant about having everything made in Australia. Despite many people telling me "it's cheaper to go offshore", it was never about the cost for me. I love that I can visit my production house whenever I need to, I love creating relationships, and I believe in a philosophy of quality over quantity.
Making our clothes in Australia is more than just a business decision—it's a commitment to local craftsmanship, supporting our community, and maintaining the highest standards of production. By keeping our manufacturing local, we're not just creating fashion; we're supporting Australian jobs, reducing our carbon footprint, and ensuring every piece meets our exacting standards.
My mission remains constant: to create fashion that empowers, inspires, and respects both people and our planet.
Welcome to my world of comfortable style.
